NZOIA Qualifications are a permanent recognition of passing an assessment on the date it was gained.

Revalidation and registration support the training and professional development of members, ensuring qualified instructors and guides are up to date and working to current good practice.

For NZOIA qualifications to remain 'Registered', instructors and guides need to complete registration (annually) and revalidation (every 4 years) to show currency.
