This is a two-day pre assessment training course to help prepare candidates for a Kayak 2 assessment.
The Kayak 2 qualification is for people who organise, instruct and guide kayaking on class 3 and teach intermediate/advanced kayak skills on class 3 white water.
Complete the NZOIA Kayak 2 Summary Sheet and a logbook as part of your training for the assessment. You do not need to have the required logged days to attend the training course.
NZOIA subsidises all courses by sourcing funding through organisations such as Sport NZ.
