The holder of this qualification can organise, lead and instruct all aspects of the skills required for multi-day sea kayak expeditions. An expedition is considered to be greater than three days, where extended periods of exposed coastlines with restricted landing sites and open ocean is encountered. Adverse conditions are to be expected and the route may have been previously unvisited.
Three-day assessment.
