This is a two-day pre assessment training course to help prepare candidates for a Canyon 2 Assessment.
The Canyon 2 qualification is for people who organise, instruct and guide all aspects of canyoning, including:
- Leading trips in canyons v3a3III
- Running and supervising canyon training courses
- Training canyon guides and instructors
Complete the NZOIA Canyon 2 Summary Sheet and a logbook as part of your training for the assessment. You do not need to have the required logged days to attend the training course.
NZOIA subsidises all courses by sourcing funding through organisations such as Sport NZ.
